With full creative liberty to curate the material palette, the designers have crafted a deceptively understated home that resonates with quiet luxury and lasting elegance. Every element, from surface to silhouette, contributes to the home’s identity as a cocoon of comfort and elemental charm, where white Banswara marble and handcrafted teak wood furniture set the tone for timelessness.

Nupur and Saahil approach every project with a clarity of thought and a reverence for space — valuing precision in planning as the foundation of good design. In this residence too, their ethos is evident: not a single square inch is wasted. The layout flows with intuitive logic, ensuring generous proportions, ease of use, and an unbroken visual rhythm throughout.

Arrival begins through a private lift lobby that leads to an expansive pivoting teak wood door, unfolding into a foyer anchored by a fluted teak panel wall — a subtle statement of warmth and texture. From here, the public and private realms diverge. The living, dining, and kitchen occupy one wing, while four serene bedrooms lie tucked into the opposite end. The living area blurs the boundary between inside and out, spilling into a 500-square-foot balcony animated by greenery, alfresco dining, and open skies.

A restrained yet rich material palette grounds the home. Local white Banswara marble stretches across the floor, reflecting natural light with a luminous quality, while bathrooms are clad in grey slate tiles, adding an earthy counterbalance. Black aluminium-framed windows lend a sleek edge, and doors crafted from recycled Burma teak, finished with natural linseed oil, quietly honour sustainable craftsmanship. Furniture, also in teak, weaves consistency through the interiors, while vibrant art, tactile accessories, and layered rugs add dashes of personality. The dialogue between the tactile warmth of wood and the quietude of white surfaces evokes a refined sensuality.

The tonal interplay of white and brown — seen in the floors, ceilings, and furnishings — achieves a materiality that feels both rooted and ethereal. The result is a spatial narrative that is at once soothing and striking, where every corner is composed yet deeply personal. Each vignette reveals its own identity while contributing to a larger continuum of aesthetic coherence.

With uninterrupted views of the skyline and the sea, the residence draws strength from its context. We Design Studio has not only embraced this vantage, but elevated it — ensuring that the interior experience mirrors the serenity and grandeur of the exterior landscape. This home is more than just a space; it is a thoughtful ode to timeless design, to sensory restraint, and to the beauty of meticulous planning.
