The design journey began with a Nordic-Scandinavian-inspired living area, where muted tones, textured paint walls, and chevron wooden panels set a serene, contemporary tone. To enhance the rustic warmth, wooden accents and indoor greens were layered in. One of the standout features here is the cozy “Dining-nook”—an L-shaped seating area designed as more than just a dining space. It’s a welcoming corner for reading, sharing meals, and sparking conversations, framed by thoughtful niches and shelving.

The entrance makes a statement of its own with a cane hanging lamp that casts intricate patterns when illuminated, establishing a warm and earthy welcome. In contrast, the kitchen brings in a pop of freshness through a palette of off-white and soft green hues.

The studio cum guest room reflects the client’s passion for music and fond memories of Manhattan, with a wallpaper showcasing a street view of New York, evoking nostalgia and personal history.
The master bedroom is a fusion of wabi-sabi aesthetics and Indian influences. The rustic-washed walls add an earthy texture, while Indian motifs on the bed’s headboard, cane-patterned wardrobe doors, and a minimalist study desk with a natural finish bring a grounded elegance. The palette stays subtle, with calming earthy tones throughout.

In delightful contrast, the daughter’s room is playful and vibrant. Inspired by the delicate beauty of Sakura, the room features a blend of white, beige, pink, and blue. A rotating shelf, generous play space, and a large pink board for creative expression make it a joyful and engaging environment. The pink wallpaper beautifully ties the room’s theme together, adding to its cheerful charm.

All wardrobes throughout the home are finished in PU, while open grain veneer adds a layer of sophistication. A carefully curated mood board guided the overall aesthetic, with a strong emphasis on sustainability—natural cane and wood were chosen as eco-friendly yet stylish materials.
