The custom creations from Avani and Akshay Khanna of Beyond Dreams not only enhance the visual appeal of the apartment but also elevate its feasibility, reflecting a deep understanding of the client’s lifestyle and needs. Every piece, from the tailored furniture to the carefully chosen art, contributes to a cohesive narrative of luxury and comfort. The furniture designed for this residence is characterised by its modern and minimalist approach, ensuring both style and practicality. Each piece is custom-designed to fit the unique requirements of the space. In the living area, the focal point is an expansive L-shaped sofa, tailored to accommodate large gatherings with ease. This seating arrangement is complemented by a trio of round coffee tables, each varying in height and design. The largest table features a open grain black polish, while the smaller ones are adorned with a cane woven table top along with wooden based polished in a pop green colour, creating an appealing contrast. This arrangement not only serves as a practical gathering space but also adds a layer of refinement to the room. The master bedroom continues the theme of modern elegance with a chic, monochromatic design. The geometric patterns employed in the bedroom’s decor add depth and texture, enhancing the overall ambience.
The choice of colours and materials contributes to a sense of tranquillity and refinement, making the space cosy and stylish at the same time. The furniture’s clean lines and understated grace ensure that the room remains both inviting and striking. While we try to add some warmth and adding layers through plants in each room bringing the outdoor to indoor. Beyond Dreams has infused the space with custom art pieces that reflect a deep connection to nature. The design firm drew inspiration from African beauty, incorporating natural colours and textures into the artwork and furniture.
For instance, a striking credenza featuring a lime green finish stands out against the otherwise neutral backdrop, adding a touch of vibrancy to the room. This use of colour, alongside dark-stained wood finishes, brings a tropical and earthy feel to the space. The art pieces are not merely decorative but also utilitarian. The design team created custom circular artworks with bird prints, embroidered with beads, adding a unique and personal touch to the space.
