Clarice Zusky is an architect, interior designer, and construction project manager based in Los Angeles. Four things bring you to exceptional designs she speaks from her experience namely, thoughtful collaboration, great conversation along with some creativity and a touch of fun. Clarice engages in honest dialogue with the clients and builders from start to finish. She believes that good design is an important aspect of enjoying everyday life.

All the below-mentioned projects are in many different parts of the world but have her concept of adaptability and yet keeping the interiors playful. They reflect her style and the client’s requirements cohesively. 

1. Prufrock Pizzeria

The raw but homely feel of the restaurant is a welcome to many; it has the feel of an open invitation rather than the invite-only tag. With the serene simplicity, one can find peace, joy and happiness.

2. Citrus man cave 

The ample space in a garage converted into a multipurpose room that could adapt to any circumstance is an idea that many take upon. It is challenging to be creative and yet comfortable for the type of space one wants. But here in this project, Clarice has provided to the client a comfortable working space as well as storage space. The view that she was able to frame is an added perk.

3. Condo kitchen / Bath remodel 

The modern feel added to the kitchen makes it look almost grand, just by the showcase of some cooking books with storage shelves give a different feel and look to the kitchen. Whereas the bathroom has its minimalistic approach, still keeping in check the home atmosphere, and not giving away a cold vibe.

4. The Lovesong Bar

A retreat for all types, come one and come all. The dark wood surfaces and rich space, the feel of stay; it’s right here at the love song bar in Los Angeles. The vintage feel by the vinyl collection can remind one of the old days and be lost in them.

5. The regent theatre

A live music venue in downtown Los Angeles; the interior is different from other venues, the seating is different and this has an impact on how the crowd connects with the band or singers. It gives a more tranquil feel rather than the hype.

6. Simple modern bathroom

Just as the name suggests, this bathroom in Venice is not just simple and modern but rich and sophisticated. It gets this from the materials and the layout. There is no chaos and the arrangements make the space clutter-free.

7. Mid century inspired powder room

A modern and vintage high-end powder room in Venice; the rich colour scheme derived from the past, and the serene tile work, work as if made for each other. It makes one feel they have entered a new era. The interiors all together are graceful and exclusive.

8. Spa-inspired master bath

Relaxation and calmness, these are the exact feelings one can feel upon entering this room. It makes one feel at peace, with nature being the view and the spacious interior. With its simple colours and minimalistic material palette, the goal has been met. Why go to the spa when you can have one at home?

9. ElevenSound kitchen remodel

The cabinets in the kitchen brighten the space, while the stainless-steel compliments it. The layout of the space is flowy, making the workspace more adaptable and user friendly. The basket weave pattern at the back wall gives a playful feel and adds to the material palette on whole.

10. Doctors office revamp

This interior space was revamped rather than remodeled due to the budget. The existing colour and material palette were used to create a fresh new look. The colour scheme doesn’t make you sick, it makes it more spacious and the accent colours touch back to giving it a classic look.

11. Modern exterior remodel

The original home was built in the early 2000s, although it was modern from many aspects the façade was not up to the mark. Changing the materials gave the house a richness. The wooden shading device made it sculptural and overall the massy balcony got replaced with a continuous mass wall. Overall the house now looked more cohesive and reached the modern status correctly.

12. Summitridge House

The house is located in Beverly Hills. Clarice has framed the view to beautiful scenery and the interiors are warm and pleasant. It’s the correct amount of homeliness and sophistication. It makes one spend more time indoors and still be in the outdoors. The exceptional indoor and outdoor transparency makes it more serene.

13. Bancroft House Renovation

This house is under the better shelter project. It has the perfect landscape area and a staircase that leads to the main house, while the garage stays below it. The interiors of the house are fresh and modern while accent colours from the furnishing bring life to the place.

14. Krusi Park renovation

This is an under-construction project and is aimed to create park facilities which model from the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department. It replaces the existing facilities to provide pathways, and group picnic spaces while addressing the safety and security codes. The design was made to be durable and low maintenance. This is possible due to the new addition of its orientation towards the solar energy and prevailing winds. The butterfly roof provides for gutter and drains the water to the gardens.

15. Panamint House Renovation

The visual aesthetics of the house are beyond pleasing, it represents a recreational home rather than a regular stay home. The ample space and accent interiors make it livelier and more welcoming. The home utilizes each furniture piece and keeps the place decluttered.
