3. Mad Architects
Focused on the style of Shan-Shui, an old Chinese Traditional Art as their philosophy and a vision for spaces and cities to be in harmony with humanity, city, and nature. Such are the ambitions of this Beijing based Chinese firm led by Ar. Ma Yansong since 2004 which has now become a global Practice with offices in Rome and the U.S. is known for its futuristic and organic design with advanced tech materials this firm should be on your watch list.
Many of you remember her from Netflix’s “Abstract design” for those who don’t, she is someone who will not just disrupt the whole construction and material industry but will revolutionize it and not with anything futuristic but what has already been given to us in nature. She is an Israeli born architect, designer, and artist who is a professor at the MIT media lab long gone for us to use these old conventional materials with something to look forward to.
5. REX Architects
From the great city of New York comes REX which Signifies re-appraisal(RE) of Architecture(X) founded by Joshua Ramus in 2006 their name suggests a lot about their philosophy that is to not just represent but to do things again, REX not just an individual but a collective of many individual ideas and is against this notion of one “starchitect” and dares to explore beyond conventional solution and ideology to create what’s best suited which can be seen in their various projects, REX dares to be dumb.
6. Sanjay Puri Architects
Founded in the year 1992 and led by Architect Sanjay Puri is one of the most talked-about architects of the contemporary era with his portfolio ranging from residential to interior and hospitality, he started his career under the guidance of eminent architect Hafeez Contractor before starting his own with offices in Mumbai and New Delhi. 7. Heatherwick Studio
