Here are 15 iconic projects by FORM GB Architecture, Design and Build Consultancy
1. Russ House, High gate, London
This project is beautifully refurbished with added basement floor extension running under the house and large parcel of garden area too along with a two-storey rear extension to this uniquely shaped site.
2. Mill Apartment, Chelsea, London
The Shell structure was converted into an exclusive high-end penthouse apartment of 5 bedrooms, entertainment space with David Linley furniture, open floor plan throughout the common areas and a terrace with Indian ocean outside kitchen unit to take advantage of the location view of the Chelsea stadium in collaboration with Debbie Beaumont interiors. Form GB handled most of the construction and building management to complete the project.
3. Grid House, Southfields, London
The house had overheating issues in the loft as well as dining-kitchen areas. Form GB refurbished the entire house to provide better spaces and open floor plan along with a bedroom on the loft. The dormer window located in the master bedroom was replaced to a full-width window with proper insulation providing larger space inside and natural lighting.
4. Jewel House, South Wimbleton, London
Since the 1960s the house was in the same condition and had to be remodelled to modern needs. An open plan on the ground floor was designed with kitchen, living and dining while the utility space was a separate outdoor entity. The first floor redesigned to fit a master bedroom with ensuite, a family bathroom, two bedrooms and a home office.
5. Ashley House, Dulwich, London
The project was remodelled entirely on the ground floor with a spiral cellar below and rear extension by Maueen Diffey architects in collaboration with Form GB. They carried out the work regarding project management and architecture consultancy. Also, French windows to the rear bedroom to take advantage of the terrace over the new kitchen.
6. Gate House, Kensington, London
This house was a challenging and unique project to refurbish, to design an extension of a two-storey glass to a grade II listed building. This meant that any original feature could be easily re-installed replacing any added element. For example, the master bedroom was built in front of the fireplace as the planners refused to eliminate it. Also, the original mouldings were to be carefully removed and given to English Heritage as artefacts.
7. Providence Chippenham, England
Form GB took responsibility for the design coordination and technical detailing for the project in collaboration with Jonathan Tuckey Designs to convert this old stone chapel building into a modern house. The uniqueness in the choice of material being black powder-coated corrugated sheet metal that blends in with the agricultural buildings in the area. Also, the timber structure is protected by the rain with this material. The house interiors were revamped entirely to designe better liveable spaces.
8. Holt House, Richmond, London
This project received a mention in the Evening Standards Awards for the category -“best new out of townhome.” This is a well thought out designed house with high luxury specification that achieved the code 4 for sustainable homes being one of the few homes to meet the eco-standard requirements in the United Kingdom. It is a two-storey house with a basement and a separate garage building.
9. Strawberry House, Twickenham, London
This house had requirements similar to that of the Ashley house project, a rear kitchen extension and a wine cellar below along with remodelling of the entire ground floor to give it a seamless space and open floor plans.
10. Olive Apartment, Wapping, London
The Holt group commissioned Form GB to undertake project management for the apartment with the architectural theme for the house being industrial. The walls of the house were sandblasted to expose all the brickwork followed by raised floor level as for the underfloor heating system throughout. The architects had to detail out customised elements of windows and a large sliding door to elevate the feel of space following the theme.

11. Victoria House, Kensington, London
The house dated back to a traditional Italian setting with 45mm reclaimed oak plaque block flowering from a concert hall. The big challenge was planning to clean and reinstall this flooring while renovating the entire house to modern times with classical touch.
12. River Apartment, Battersea, London
The apartment was renovated with carefully designed elements to enhance the space. Form GB was part of the integral design team in collaboration with Helen Green and TFFA to complete the project. They primarily designed customised technical joinery details for reception room TV with sliding concealed panels with storage and backlit onyx, bathrooms and perimeter lot window bookshelves along the window that overlooked onto a lightwell.
13. Photo House, Wimbleton, London
The house required a kitchen extension and an upgrade in the interiors. Form GB was hired only for producing drawings for approval as the client didn’t have the funds to hire and they
remodelled it themselves. However, Form GB was their guide and consultant during the entire process as in when necessary.
14. Flip House, Wandsworth, London
This project faced a few challenges with the Planning department placing a condition to retain the mansard slope to a 70-degree angle to fit with the local conservation area style. Form GB transformed this neglected real estate into a modern home with better insulation.
15. French Apartments, Kings Road, London
This unique project required renovation and linking of three apartments two on the raised ground and one on the lower ground floor converting them into a single largest unit in the grade I listed building which was a hospital before. The work was in collaboration with TFFA where Form GB took the role of tender and construction management along with package production to include bathrooms, joinery and stair design.
