Nivasa has embarked on a transformative journey by crafting the interiors of a lawyer’s office sprawled across 2500 square feet in Defence Colony, New Delhi. Under the adept guidance of Nivasa’s principal architect and designer, this project commenced in June 2021 and reached its completion by September 2021, culminating in a remarkable fusion of modern aesthetics intertwined with classical nuances. Captured through the lens of photographer Deepak Aggarwal, this office exudes a welcoming ambiance, redefining the conventional perception of a workplace.
The distinctive identity bestowed upon this space by Nivasa is evident from the moment one steps into its confines. An inviting lobby serves as the gateway, adorned in a captivating blend of light blue and yellow hues, accentuated by an array of planters, decor accessories, and artworks. The snug yellow leather armchairs, complemented by a black and white chequered flooring and a faux fireplace, coalesce to create a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Delicate woven cane panels not only act as room dividers but also serve as captivating decor elements, enhancing the lobby’s visual appeal.
Moving further into the workspace, the waiting room mirrors the opulence of a lavish living area, featuring a comfortable blue and grey sofa set, wooden shelves, and an expansive window overlooking a balcony. The main office continues the narrative of refinement, with a regal lawyer’s desk, a leather sofa set, and floor-to-ceiling wooden bookshelves adorned with cane features, exuding both practicality and antiquated charm. The conference room, an extension of this sophisticated interior style, boasts grey walls, a wooden bookshelf with a cane cabinet, and a sleek conference table surrounded by chairs showcasing cane detailing.
Throughout the office, a muted palette of colors and textures harmonizes with carefully crafted details and unique materials, elevating the overall aesthetic to a charming and inviting level. This bespoke design not only reflects the client’s personality but also prioritizes functionality, creating a workspace that is both aesthetically pleasing and conducive to productivity. Nivasa’s vision for this project transcends traditional office design, aiming to reimagine the way we perceive and interact with our work environments.
