This lot, located near the public services area (the post office is also located in the area), is intended for public parking, partly for a school area and partly for a green area, since the Sissa school in the will of the Municipal Administration it is in a “pedestrian area”, meaning together with the other schools it is part of an area completely closed to vehicular traffic.

The new building (with useful surfaces of approximately 3,500 m2 and an indicative planimetric footprint of 1,850 m2) hosts n. 10 main classrooms for normal teaching activities in the presence of the whole class, plus to 10 rooms identified as atelier-laboratory for intercycle activities including the school canteen as these are classrooms intended for afternoon activities, in addition, of course, to the necessary spaces for connectivity and services.

As regards the canteen, the capacity is calculated on approximately 90 users, since it is expected to be used in two consecutive shifts. There is also the construction of an il gym whose use, in addition to activities related to teaching, may also be foreseen for other activities extracurricular. Both the canteen and the gym have independent access. The structure to be built is inspired by the principles of energy efficiency, in order to obtain numerous e undisputed advantages: greater thermal insulation, better acoustics, healthier environment, savings in terms of maintenance and energy efficiency, as well as significant savings in time realization.

The load-bearing structure is made with X-LAM perimeter walls, i.e. made with wooden panels crossed layers complete with thermal insulation and pre-assembled in the factory. Such walls are made in 5-layer solid wood panels of suitable thickness. There is a thermal insulator external in XPS, subsequently coated with a smoothing coat and subsequent thick painting using siloxane resin. This construction technology allowed shorter construction times, giving a prompt response to the community, significantly reducing the construction time of the construction site.
