1. ECO – 29 INTERACTIVE WEDDING HALL

Eco-29 is an adaptable wedding hall and event space. Constructed in 2013 in Hadera, Israel, Eco-29 is the largest kinetic and interactive space of its kind. The architects’ motivation behind the design of Eco-29, was to allow a free-flowing and flexible space for its primary use as a Wedding Venue. The wedding venue was developed in place of an existing warehouse building. The concept was to create a soft design inside the stiff warehouse exteriors. Foxlin’s role was the design and implementation of the interactive interiors of the Wedding Venue, wherein more than 70 computer-controlled motors and a quarter-mile of fabric was used. Eco-29 is thus, the largest fully dynamic event space ever constructed.

High ceilings and big windows create a soothing link with the open areas of the house and take advantage of the stunning forest view.

5. MORNING LAVENDER RETAIL & TEA HOUSE

Wedding Photographer and fashion blogger, Kim Le Pham recently opened her flagship store in Tustin, California. The interior design of the retail shop is very white and airy to flaunt the identity of the brand, that focuses on wedding products and clothing. The shop also includes an in-house tea shop that serves pastries and sandwiches. Amidst the heart of the old town, there is an open sitting area connected to the tea house which is prepped with furniture for group events and showers with light lunch. During the evenings, this outdoor area often has live acoustic performances complementing the serenity of the location and landscape.

6. TWO LEFT FORKS RESTAURANT

This 5-star restaurant is situated in the city of Irvine, California. The interior design gives off a rustic yet urban feel throughout the restaurant. The designers have done a great job with the clever play of colors and partitions. The focal point is a custom-made sculpture aloft the central booth made with 2000 steel rods that shines contrary to the back background. The break between the indoor and outdoor space is done by 2-meter-high water fountains. There is also a beautiful wall showcasing selected wines, that also acts as a transition space between the restaurant and bar area. Contrasting shades of a dark wood floor and white oak wood furniture create a smooth sense of drama.

7. TRIBECA LOFT RENOVATION

It’s another renovation project of a 1500 square feet loft located in TriBeCa, New York. The major design decision was to make this loft a clean and adaptable space for the Lawin family. Several flexible elements, like hidden storage space in the staircase, were used to maximize the use of the given space. The loft height was very artistically used by creating mezzanine floors to accommodate an office and a guest room. Non- fussy lines and a soft palette gives the house a soothing ambiance. At the center of the house is a double-height open kitchen adjoining the dining and living area that acts as a cherry on the top for an otherwise well-planned house.

BK Cellars Urban Winery, stretching across 2400 square feet, needed a complete remake, a task which was trusted upon FoxLin. They designed the whole functional space including a tasting lounge, brand new reception area, bar, and lounge. The design concept of creating an industrial setting with a cosmopolitan flair fits well with the name. While looking at the winery one can see a lot of minute details suiting the essence of the space, such as the use of barrels alongside the tasting lounge, a custom wine wall near the bar, and tables articulated using corks and winery equipment.

11. LEMON HEIGHTS RESIDENCE

In this six-story house in Santa Ana, California, the FoxLin design team undertook the task of remodeling two bathrooms and the addition of a basement and guest suite. This design was rather complicated as they needed to go alongside the wooded nature of the existing interior design. As a result, clean horizontal lines and warm colors were used to make sure that the new area blends well with the others. The use of curved geometries and free-flowing surfaces creatively counter the scale of space and make it look bigger.
