The architectural idea was born to bring out a pure and modern volumetric “extrusion”, able to host some of the main rooms; it is linked with the grammar of urban context but it wears a different shape: a good balance between existing and new.
The new external skin was made with “trespa” anthracite gray panels, which, together with the ventilated wall, have both the purpose of improving energy performances, and reach the aim of essentiality.
The ancient building has maintained the same color scheme of plasters, same fixtures and shutters, eaves and mantle, while the parapets of the new terraces are made of a modern structural glass.
