The home’s defining feature is a south facing cantilevered canopy, providing deep, shaded porches.
The program accommodates the owner’s visiting family, while also contracting for just the two of them.
Public and private zones are organized using staggered levels, pinwheeling around a central stair.
Relating floor elevations to the dunes allowed the home to grow out of the landscape, much like the tangled live oak trees that surround it.
