All the cottage blocks are G+1, while the main reception block is 5 floors. The entrance is from the upper floors and the lower floors below are along the slope of the hill, thus minimising cutting and filling. The steeper slopes have been left as is as part of the nature trail. Additional tea plantation has been grown to add to the green environment. The landscape provides the much needed privacy of the cottages as well as create a soothing environment through the levels of the hills.

The cottages and rooms are oriented that they all face towards the valley on the east. Their interior layout is such that the first view in the morning is of the sunrise in the expansive valley. Sound of Birds chirping, fragrance of fresh flowers & filtered sunlight through the scattered clouds, all add to the overall ambience of the morning experience.

The design primarily uses local materials that provides a contemporary feel with a traditional flavour. Locally available Rubber wood has been used in all the interior spaces as wood panelling, providing the warmth in each of the spaces. Terracotta artwork by a local artist, depicting the life of a Tea Village adorns the main entrance lobby.
