Fusion is the New Future
In the world of diversity, the interdisciplinary influence in contemporary Art and Design are two sides of the same coin. It is like the cross-discipline of two or more organizations working together to achieve one goal. Contemporary Art and Design are globally influenced by the differences in culture, language, territories, and people. This results in openness in the field of art, design, and architecture setting them free from all barriers and freedom to think beyond limitations and explore new experiments.
Yayoi Kusama
Our surroundings are all filled with art, Design, and Architecture and people often forget to appreciate and start taking it for granted. The above image is from one of the famous Japanese Contemporary artists named Yayoi Kusama. She is known for her mesmerizing yet innovative, psychological artwork. She believes it is art that is the one way to connect to our soul. Kusama has established herself as one of the most significant contemporary artists. One of her works which featured outstandingly around the times was her first polka-dot hallucination. It is her painted sculptures of “pumpkin” in the year 2010. Her iconic polka dot patterns were repeated endlessly all over the pumpkin resonating the humanity with infinity. Understanding her project in depth, it is quite normal to feel that we all are aware of the name Polka Dot but have never thought that this could be used for artwork to show her the meaning of endless time and the absoluteness of space and nothingness.
Fluidity in Design
It is the fluidity to acceptance towards modern art that helps to evolve concepts in all the fields of art, artists, architecture, science, and technology, and the creation of hope for new opportunities to explore. The juxtaposition is the key feature to building an influential art, design, and architecture, and yet has its importance to sustain in today’s era of modernity and uncertainty. There is no other best way to develop any organization, or community if the openness to integrating the new with the existing is not accepted. The entire universe works in sync with co-dependency.
The significance of fluidity is art, design, and architecture are not restricted to conceptual work, rather it is the fluidity to accept the challenges of the new modern way. The fluidity to acceptance to evolve and create. If the fluidity is not there, there would be no growth, all the design, art around, and architectural buildings would have remained the same and would lead to monotonous surroundings. The interdisciplinary influence is the key feature yet important to be challenged and significant to rediscover what has already been discovered.
The adaptableness to change and produce any form is an essentiality to incur and maintain the ongoing life. The influence of contemporary is hard to pin down as it is so widely spread. One would be not wrong if one gave it the name of being omnipresent. It has been a part of every innovation and yet the entire world has evolved out of co-dependence and creating an innovation with invention goes hand in hand.
Lost and Found
The perfect example of the artwork of Yayoi Kusama is one of the prominent illustrations depicting the interdependency of the old polka patterns and pumpkins which are not just a unique way of exhibiting creative art, but a modest way to find inspiration from around existence. To find the newness within existence is also an art and is often overseen or ignored. The beauty of being a creative designer in any field of innovation is the value of being a detail-oriented and attentive observer. Art, Design, and Architecture is incomplete without an observer and observant. The amalgamation of different things around nature teaches itself to adapt to changes and drive new ones and thus plays a crucial part in designing.
The stimulation is across the world to participate and get influenced to prepare and put forth novel yet artistic points of view to society. It is prominent that the world is advancing with the advanced changes in time. It would have been not the same filled with excitement, and surprises if didn’t welcome the modern world to resonate with the past and future together. Powering the use of being involved using the latest methods, concepts, or styles is one of the finest approaches to involve the possibility of bringing new conceptions and discovery.
In conclusion, the creation and creator are incomplete if the inspiration is not prejudiced by the continuation. This strategy gives new possibilities to formation not only as a new form but also as a potential future Architectural space, Design, and Art.
