The design features a predominantly light and neutral color palette, enriched with varied textures and subtle bursts of color—like the anthracite-toned Terminal chaise and wine-colored Papilio armchair, both by B&B Italia. The Mondrian sofas from Italian brand Poliform, upholstered in a sand-gray fabric blend, anchor the living and home theater areas.

A bold blue canvas by artist Ana Jobim stands out on the central wall, while a sculptural pendant by Cypriot designer Michael Anastassiades brings an artistic touch to the dining room.

The transition between social and private spaces is also marked by a shift in materials: the travertine wood flooring in the common areas gives way to oak floors in the bedrooms, adding warmth and intimacy. According to Fernanda, this deliberate inversion reinforces the sense of coziness and privacy in the family quarters.

More than an interior design project, Carbono reflects the lifestyle of a contemporary family that values well-being, refined aesthetics, and meaningful togetherness. With her signature attention to detail, Fernanda Marques seamlessly blends architecture, design, and art—perfectly in tune with the sophisticated spirit of São Paulo’s Ibirapuera neighborhood.
