Reserva Recife, a high-end development in Praia Brava. Designed as a holiday retreat for a
family that frequently hosts guests, the project centers around social connection and
seamless spatial flow.

The open-plan layout merges the dining area, balcony, and kitchen, creating a flexible and
generous social core. This space was conceived to host multiple simultaneous activities
without relying on physical separations. A signature curved window-an architectural highlight of the building’s façade-frames the natural surroundings and visually extends the living area toward the ocean.
The cohesive atmosphere of the main living space is shaped through bespoke joinery,
curated furnishings, and a refined material palette. Light, matte, and textured flooring is
softened by a patterned wool rug that defines the lounge area.
The Maestro sofa follows a gentle curve that echoes the architecture, facing a custom shelving unit with woven straw detailing. Across the room, another curved element appears in the lowered ceiling of the integrated kitchen, clad in the same wood that lines the walls. The warm wood tones contrast with the cool veining of the stone used for the kitchen island and in a recessed niche that houses the sink and cooktop.
Balancing a restrained formal language with a variety of tactile materials, the project creates a delicate and layered interior-simple in design, yet rich in texture and visual interest.
