As one of the state’s most ambitious luxury pool developments, The Cove features a robust steel-clad pavilion that houses an open-air bar and grill, complete with a fully equipped commercial kitchen. The space is meticulously designed, integrating private shower facilities, advanced IT infrastructure, and three ergonomically designed whirlpool spas. The focal point is a grand, architecturally articulated pool, framed by terraced lounge areas that provide both visual interest and functional relaxation zones.

Luxe private daybeds and suspended hammocks are strategically placed beneath a canopy of towering date palms, enhancing the serene atmosphere. Additionally, the site includes a raised bocce ball court and a thoughtfully repurposed greenhouse, which has been transformed into an intimate setting for private wellness experiences and an organic dining venue. The nearly USD 20 million project harmoniously blends with the surrounding Santa Monica Mountains, creating a seamless integration of built and natural environments.

The Cove’s design language draws inspiration from the undulating forms of the nearby coastline, with a color palette that includes rich cobalt blue, turquoise, burnt orange, and verdant greens, all of which complement the tactile warmth of teak wood and the crisp lines of white metals. The vaulted canopy, constructed from white aluminum and steel, mirrors the curvature of ocean waves, creating a dynamic architectural gesture that anchors the space. As the evening unfolds, the architectural drama of The Cove is heightened by the strategic placement of tiki torches and a striking forty-foot-long fire wall, which bathes the environment in a warm, inviting glow.

Robert Cima, Regional Vice President and General Manager, describes The Cove Pool, Kitchen & Bar as a transformative addition to the hotel, stating, “This space will redefine how our guests experience luxury within our urban retreat. Our intent is to craft an environment where architectural elegance meets the idyllic Southern California lifestyle, offering a setting that is both welcoming and celebratory.”
