Leading designer lighting manufacturer, Sans Souci, unveils its latest collection Charm at Design Shanghai 2024. The Charm collection was designed by award-winning designer Sara Moroni, with its captivating pieces resembling precious jewels, highlighting spaces with a unique ambience. Like a piece of precious jewellery, these installations reflect both light and personality.

This unique series of lights represents the perfect blend of art and technology, achieving stunning lighting effects. Charm installations are formed of mesmerising glass spheres, reminiscent of exquisite jewels. Each sphere is handblown and also hides a secret– a glowing sphere inside. The beauty of the inner sphere is only revealed when the piece is illuminated, creating a new and unexpected shape as the light shines through.
Charm is a combination of elegant, clean geometric shapes, and simple details. Inspired by the way a piece of jewellery can transform and elevate the wearer’s style, each light is a unique work of art, created to crown your interior.
Designer Sara Moroni explains: “Inspiration for the Charm collection came from jewellery, where colour, shape, texture, and proportion are very important. In Italy during the Renaissance, it was customary to complement clothing with precious accessories to enhance the appearance, especially for women. Men were no exception, as many portrait paintings show. Jewellery was an important part of fashion, and lighting is an important part of any space,”
The beauty and intrigue of the Charm collection is made possible by Sans Souci‘s unique nanocoating technology and techniques, which allow the surface to play with light and create an ethereal effect. This unique finish is available in gold, silver, and pink gold, to complement the space and add unique luxury.
