Immediately behind the main door is a foyer. It opens into the main living area straight ahead. The primary open space has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate the living room, dining room and bar, and puja room while maintaining a distinctive design aesthetic. The main concept in the living room is achieved through the use of black veneer, mirrors, and grey Italian marble. The flowery, beaded style of the soft furnishings creates a dance of colors and textures. The client and his wife had different taste in design, which affected the room’s appearance.

The dining area has a mirrored accent wall next to the family room, which gives the room a feeling of warmth and vastness all at once. The lively bar area with a lighted, fluted semi-open bar is directly across from it. The counterfront style of this bar extends the floral, boho aesthetic while optimizing storage capacity.

The puja room, which is located in the center of the space, features a beautiful marble and mother-of-pearl inlay. The kitchen is to the right of the main entrance. The organic marble floor and the geometric patterns on the overhead shelves are highlighted by the simple grey cabinetry.
The master bedroom is cozy because of its wooden and grey decor. Interestingly, a semi-island bed generates an open walk-in wardrobe behind it. The master bathroom, which is decorated in black, white, and gold, follows the motif of the bedroom, which has a golden inlay on the walls. The son’s bedroom is set up to resemble a gaming den. This room has a unique look thanks to the neon RGB lights and blue and grey motif. The bathroom is made lively by the peculiar usage of LED profile lights and terrazzo and vivid blue. The daughter’s room, which has a pastel, angelic theme, is the last bedroom in this house.

This room features a queen size bed with a bunk bed over it. Spacious shelves, a dresser and a study area complete the functionality of this room. Even with the design that is optimised for storage, the room features a spacious open area which can be used for playing.

With various styles catering to the varying requirements of each room, this house is custom-made to fit the client’s needs. A luxurious yet inviting space, this Mumbai abode crafts a unique narrative through a bold and imaginative design style.
