Based in Atlanta, Georgia; the ‘2018 Palladio Award’ winning firm, T. S. Adams Studio Architects, Inc. is an ever-expanding architecture and restoration firm. Since its inaugural in 2001 founded by Tim Adam, they soon established their second workplace at Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in 2006.
While the principal architect himself holds an experience spanning 20 years and more with memberships of AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS, HISTORICAL PRESERVATION SOCIETY and INSTITUTE OF CLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE AND ART, the studio emphasises on making sustainable and eternal designs with classical touch while concentrating on attention to detail. Being featured in countless architectural magazines and publications; exclusive residential projects is their distinguishing hallmark.
1. Price Blumen Residence, Atlanta
The ravishing external facade cladded with limestone draws our attention to have a peek into this splendid residential house following its metal-framed glass openings and windows, which illuminate the interiors with natural light. The matte black coloured roof that contrasts with the poolside seating arrangement will convince you to linger around here for a while!
2. Cunningham Manor, Atlanta
This restoration project demonstrates perfectly what use of proportion and attention to detail can award a structure; an absolute existence beyond time!
The two guardian lion statues sitting right in front of the entrance hint a touch of neoclassicism, while the use of mahogany wood framing for windows adds to the authenticity of the structure. For any restoration project use of correct materials is very important and Tim Adam made no mistake doing that; even further making it flawless. It is this project that won the studio, the prestigious ‘Palladio Award’ in 2018.
3. Beach house, Watersound, Florida
This beach house designed in a contemporary manner observes shingle-style architecture. The dark beige coloured shingles placed uniformly over the exterior of the building presents a monochromatic appearance that goes with the beach surrounding subtly. Besides its exterior charisma, the interiors are equally charming!
4. Vernacular Cottage, Florida
The physical appearance of this place has the air of a typical ‘creole cottage’, which is a blend of European and Caribbean descent. Planned around an internal courtyard, this house is home to revealing natural materials with pine flooring, wooden rafters and a whole lot of timber exhibits. Counting them all, it’s a perfect example of a cosy beach house.
5. Lakeside Country House, South California
Sited amidst a lakeside surrounding; the forte of this countrified modern lake house is that it blends absolutely with the environment. Collaboration work with Westbrook Interiors, this lake-house cottage showcases both interior and exterior qualities without disturbing the delightful scenery enclosing this retreat.
6. Modern Exquisite Dwelling, Florida
A typically hipped roof contemporary classic; the building features a simple yet elegant look via its plain exterior brick cladding painted in ivory white contradicting the black slate roof. The semi-open indoor back porch is appropriately done, spirited with vivid colour scheme and furniture allowing you to spend a lavish time.
7. Waterfront Holiday Home, Florida
The Lowcountry architectural style coming from the long-drawn-out coastline of South California and Georgia can be observed in most of the works done by Tim Adam’s Studio. The covered peripheral porch is its distinguishing feature along with the double-hung windows that we get to witness in this family vacation house.
The centre of attention in this project is its varied use of materials such as the vintage wooden flooring, reclaimed bricks or the unusual application of manila ropes; these all together make it a splendid live-in space!
8. Seaboard Residence, St. Simons Island
A wide front porch, reclaimed exposed bricks and trilogy of attic windows on the roof derive from the building as an iconic structure that has evolved over time. Overall white tint shading the interiors give the living space a rich lavish feel, while the efficiently done outdoor landscaping comes together to make this residence a reasonable paradise!
9. Shingle styled Abode, Buckhead
Sheathed in a grey exterior monochromatic colour scheme the house might look explicit on first look, but make no mistake in anticipating what it has to offer!

10. Seaside Summer Home, WaterColor, Florida
Yet another low country beach house, this second home comprehends a blue and white dominated colour palette equally for the interiors and exteriors. Being a beach house it also features a mudroom and an exterior shower to dry off your wet clothes and sandy boots before entering the main house.
The outdoor porch seating is like a cherry on the cake; witnessing the setting-sun by the shore along with your loved ones.
11. Contemporary Manor, Atlanta
This exclusive longhouse with varied hip and valley roofs is modestly joyful to behold on its very first look. The retreat unites perfectly with the white theme of the coastline locality buildings, featuring highlights of blues over the white home decor. The popping out projection on the apex face of the building works as a spotlight differentiating the retreat from other buildings.

15. Countryside Mansion, Atlanta
This vintage house located in the third-highest-grossing business district of Atlanta, spotted outside the downtown area the house blends perfectly with its surroundings.
Flaunting the Arts and Crafts architecture moment the structure exhibits its typical characteristics specifically asymmetry, varied use of materials and craftsmanship. This style encourages the recurrence of craftsmanship in this age of industrialization and it indeed is a moral work of art!
