The DDA penthouse has been designed in a modern classical design. The project involved re-structuring the space to its original design and adding larger glazing to create more natural light in an otherwise dark existing space.

At the entrance there is a double height space with a double glazing which opens into a front balcony. Wooden paneling along the staircase ascending and the drop ceiling adds warmth and character to this lounge area of the home.

The design evokes easy living with an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which weave together seamlessly. The kitchen is designed in modern style with a grey classical modern theme. There is a breakfast counter which acts as a spot to interact with high bar seating and decorative drop lights. The living room has a relaxed look with wallpaper on one end with a hint of teal and silver shade in an otherwise monotone shaded living room. There is a guest bedroom on this floor which is designed for occasional guests and the bathroom serves as a powder room for this floor.

As we proceed upstairs, the staircase wall has white wooden painted paneling in classical modern style. Even though the spaces are small, the use of materials adds grandeur and elegance to the styling of the apartment.

The double height volume opens the space and creates drama with an elegant wooden modern chandelier, which adds to the character of the apartment.

Each bedroom has its own private balcony for some breakout outdoor space and natural light. The bedrooms share a common bath and dresser which is designed in an all-white marble with a hint of fuchsia shade of Bisazza tiles and antique gold finished fixtures.

Each bedroom has its own feature wall with a hint of color (Purple color) in the master bedroom and a blue shade in the kid’s bedroom.

There is an external staircase from the kid’s balcony which leads to a common terrace area.
