Espoo, a city in southern Finland located west of Helsinki is a region with broad, flat valleys with clay hills. The area has been inhabited since 3500 BC. Espoo is connected to Helsinki and the rest of Finland via Railway connections. Espoo covers 204 square miles of area with a total population of 300k residents in 2020, becoming the second-most populous city in Finland. The city line of Espoo is dominated by a series of detached houses and suburban clusters and the city has a large share of the natural area which includes a long shoreline, forests, lakes, and a national park.
