The Tetris House stands out as an exceptional architectural creation seamlessly blending creativity, functionality, and sustainability. Taking alleviation from the dateless Tetris game, the design ingeniously brings together distinct rudiments to craft a unified and visually stunning structure. Nestled on an extensive plot, the house boasts a textured slate surface suggesting a snug’ box,’ concealing a different array of textures and colours within.

Gauging two situations, the house accommodates five bedrooms, formal and family living spaces, a dining area, kitchen, and a study. The ground floor facilitates a smooth transition between inner and outdoor spaces, with bedrooms overlooking a small landscaping garden, promoting cross-ventilation. Separating the public and private zones, centrally placed perpendicular movement in the home connects each space of the hearthstone together, while still allowing each section to have its own commerce with their its conterminous zones.

With a U-shaped plan, the design encourages communication between bottoms, seamlessly integrating geographical features like a yard, waterbody, and breakfast sundeck. A centrally located staircase serves both functional and suggestive places, featuring cantilevered rustic rudiments connecting different situations. Varied fenestration, including louvers, grills, and glass-shuttered windows, creates a witching interplay of light and shadow around the staircase.

The first-floor houses three bedrooms and a study room, featuring pitched roofs for increased internal space. The interior spaces maintain simplicity, with named walls finished in grays and browns. Skylights and deep-set windows allow soft, circular daylight to illuminate the innards. The minimal furnishings in the Tetris House emphasize the emulsion of function and form.

Warm-toned accoutrements, grungy slate tinges, and textures, along with expansive use of veneer panelling and wood furnishings, inoculate the space with visual warmth. The result is a hearthstone that not only fulfils functional requirements but also stands as a testament to architectural imagination and aesthetic harmony, icing authenticity and oneness.
