Villa 4P is built on a relatively steep hillside with a beautiful view of Graz. What is unique is the building’s orientation on its natural terrain slope – a symbiosis of the home with the surrounding vegetation.

The project’s character builds upon the union of spaces on various levels, which develop spatially through its rooms and outdoor areas such as the terraces and pool. The upper level focuses on the fantastic view over the valley and houses the living area, the eat-in kitchen, and the parent’s area, which includes a master bedroom and bathroom.
Conversely, the lowest level contains the bedrooms and bathrooms for children and guests and leads into the garden. Outdoor areas, such as terraced landscapes covered by the big tent-like roof, lead to the pool.
Characteristics of the property are its use of raw materials with high haptic quality – such as wood and concrete. The whole project builds up to a unique ensemble of contraries. An interplay of above and below, interior and exterior, extrovert while at the same time introvert.
