The Meadows Haus is designed around managing views and retaining solar access to the southern ski mountain views. The main living spaces are articulated atop the house, utilizing rooftop decks to maximize the livable spaces.

The clients goal was to achieve as near net zero or net positive as possible. We chose PHIUS+ Certification to help guide those goals. Utilizing WUFI passive, we dialed in the thermal envelope and accompanying assemblies to achieve that goal.

On site active PV panels built into solar canopies double as thermal control for the deck spaces and on site power generation to help offset energy loads.
