This project was designed for Nick Blue of Blue Sky Custom Homes. Their goal is to provide high end contemporary design . They often build houses without owners and sell them. There was a house on this lot previously.

It was knocked over because it is in a gated community that is very desirable. The community is a mixture of styles. Since it is an older subdivision, there are many styles. The house was more contemporary and we had to create a more transitional style by adding stone and gabion wall details in the front to be in step with the neighborhood.
The property has 8400 square feet of livable space, including a gazebo with outdoor kitchen and seating area, a 1 bedroom guesthouse, and a free standing gym.
Texture and contemporary lines were the goal for the architect to use this otherwise contemporary design.
