The design focuses on creating a bright, open, and inviting atmosphere that seamlessly connects with the surrounding outdoors, paying homage to its beauty. This approach is reflected in the thoughtfully curated selection of minimalistic and timeless furniture, lighting, and the spacious open-floor plan. To add a personal touch to the interior, captivating paintings by a local artist adorn the walls, further enhancing the minimalist decor.

Positioned on the ground floor with extensive glazing, the apartment harmoniously merges with the adjacent garden, creating a sense of unity. Wavy curtains in natural hues delicately filter in warm sunlight, contributing to a serene and cozy ambiance.

The main semi-public area resides on the ground floor, serving as a gathering space for family and friends to connect and spend quality time together. The upper floor houses the private quarters, offering intimacy when desired. The kitchen island, dining table, and sofa align along a strong axis, encouraging a circular movement that highlights the framed view captured by the windows.

Wood features prominently throughout the apartment, both in the carpentry and flooring, as seen in many of HAA&D designs. Recognized for its timeless elegance and sustainability, wood also brings about positive psychological and general health benefits. The natural tones of wood subtly complement the surrounding greenery, creating a harmonious and peaceful environment. The architects specifically designed the wooden carpentry to meet the residents’ needs, and a skilled local artisan handcrafted it.
