The research upstream of the project investigates the phenomena of signification, that is the relationships that link present objects to materially absent concepts.

A bed does not make a room, but it can give the impression … In an unfinished apartment, without windows and floors, the sense of proportion is altered; empty rooms seem less spacious.

Cristiana Vannini works with references and references, halfway between interior and exhibit, with the aim of guiding the visitor by means of minimal and meaningful signs: iconic objects, precisely.

You reveal the potential of the property by suggesting possible interpretations of the spaces. Using a basic formal alphabet, she designs a synthetic and exhaustive, neutral and identifying scenography.

The crucial aspects of architecture become recognizable and everything takes on the right dimension. In the temporary installation, the raw volumes are treated to be evanescent; only the contrast of the windows, furnishings and upholstery interrupts the large white surfaces. There is everything and the opposite of everything; there is the idea of home.
