The planning, procurement, schedules, and design were vital, demonstrating that establishing character is all about layers and minutiae. Righteousness, according to Studio Osmosis, is found in contrast. They redesigned a Mumbai apartment’s 1,200-square-foot living room to create discrete lounge and dining sections, each with their palette yet fluidly integrated inside the space. The living room’s design is typical of the 1980s style, with mahogany veneers, post-modern furniture, and a prominently positioned marble temple. The layering not only creates contrast but also knits all of the rooms together, enhancing the space’s aesthetic.

8. Apartment 3 at World Towers, Mumbai
Year of Completion: 2017
Location:World Crest, Lower Parel, Mumbai
Area of Construction: 2000 sq.ft.

The concept included the city’s multi-layered urban surroundings, culture, and colors, its proximity to the sea, and the urban chaos that comes with it. This guided their color and material palette in terms of harmonizing the characteristics of warmth and undertoned elegance while keeping the space’s usefulness. These colors, textures, and materials gradually influence the space’s vibe, making it more welcome and relaxed.
A delicate balance is achieved between adding accent colors and without having the area feel too weird. The metal wall art in the living room was created specifically for the location to complement the intended mood. The secret cabinet temple is quietly represented by the slightly traditional floral-inspired modern layered graphic art printed on the hardwood panels and console, which were produced in collaboration with LivinArt, who also chose matching accents.
Another factor to consider was the building’s unique curve design, which had a continuous stretch of balconies all the way along, providing some of the most fantastic city, sea, and sea-link views.
Overall, the home is a pleasant and just-right amount of luxurious room where one may peacefully bask in the beautiful views and sunsets that high living provides while being grounded.

The apartment layout has a huge living area in the center and two bedrooms on either side of the living room. All of the rooms face north and west. The moods and tones of the rooms were calculated using the sun route and cosmic references, as well as the room’s purpose and inhabitant. The atmosphere and color tones formed the core of the house’s design philosophy. They had to work backward, focusing on the minor elements first, before looking at the big picture as a group. The materials chosen resonated with the room idea independently.
Every piece of art and music or furniture has its own story, feeling of identity, and vital function to play in making the room entirely.

An open, friendly, and curious entryway with enormous barrel seats was built to attract customers.
