The building will incorporate cutting edge sustainable technology in order to be the most sustainable building in Africa as well as the first medical facility in the world with a Water Petal Living Building Challenge accreditation.” – Enrico Daffonchio

76 Corlett Drive is a high-end office block, in line with the developer, Legaro’s image in the market. The building will incorporate cutting edge sustainable technology in order to be the most sustainable building in Africa, as measured by the highest international Green Building Rating – the Living Building Challenge.

Daffonchio proposed to take the design of this office block to the next level by starting from the highest theoretical points achievable in terms of the Green Star ratings. This was then used as a base point to start defining the elements of the design, to make this building the first of its kind. This ambitious target aims to improve the building’s performance while reducing development costs.
