Located in a modern, upscale development in Kyiv’s Obolon district, the newest branch of the 365 beauty studio network brings a fresh perspective to the brand’s aesthetic. It’s the third project designed by the creative minds at Bogdanova Bureau, where each studio maintains the recognizable brand identity while introducing its own distinctive energy and interior concept. Though united by the same color palette and core design language, every 365 studio offers a unique sensory journey.

“Designing a studio that’s part of a network sets certain creative boundaries—we need to stay true to the brand’s look and feel,” says Olga Bogdanova, founder of Bogdanova Bureau. “But we also wanted this space to reflect a deeper interpretation of 365’s vision. With the Obolon studio, we focused on transformation as a journey—both external and internal. That’s why we leaned into the idea of a tropical escape, where each beauty treatment feels like a serene retreat.”

Staying faithful to the brand’s iconic green and white tones, the designers introduced a fresh take by applying green gradients on metallic surfaces, subtly shifting the palette into a more contemporary mood. The sheen of stainless steel adds refinement and a high-end touch. Visitors are welcomed into the space by a stylish bar, a trademark element of all 365 locations, where drinks and light refreshments create a relaxed, social ambiance right from the start.

One of the studio’s most eye-catching features is the large semi-spiral staircase. Initially planned for a different location within the space, the staircase had to be repositioned to suit the ergonomic and zoning needs of the studio. With approval from the building’s architects, a new opening was created between floors and reinforced by two support columns. Suspended from metal cables wrapped in cotton fibers, the staircase flows like a sculptural ribbon through the studio. Its handrails, integrated into the support system and finished in green leather, give the impression of walking through a stylized jungle, turning the act of climbing stairs into a design experience.

The interior layout spans three thoughtfully designed levels. The ground floor is tailored for men, featuring barber stations, manicure and pedicure areas, and a private VIP suite for guests seeking a more discreet service. The second level is dedicated to women’s services, centered around a vibrant color bar where hair dyes are mixed in full view, adding transparency and flair to the space. This floor also houses nail care rooms and a special area for parallel services, allowing guests to combine treatments efficiently. The eco-conscious approach is present throughout, with details like a toilet made of recycled sawdust and the exclusive use of vegan cosmetic products reinforcing the studio’s values.

Downstairs, the basement level transforms into a colorful and secure space for children. This area not only provides a hairdressing zone and a playroom filled with digital and tactile games but also serves a crucial function as a bomb shelter during air raids. While parents indulge in self-care, their children are safely entertained, making the studio a destination for the whole family.

The mood of the 365 Obolon studio is one of holistic well-being—a blend of lush nature, modern materials, and thoughtful digital enhancements. “We wanted to create an oasis that fosters both physical transformation and emotional renewal,” says Bogdanova.

The journey to bring this vision to life began in 2021. But as Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine happened and the war escalated in early 2022, the studio’s future came into question. Could beauty still find its place during the war? Owner Iryna Popova paused the project for six months, weighing its significance in such a changed world. Ultimately, she chose to press forward, driven by faith in Ukraine’s future and a desire to build rather than retreat. Her decision gave the project deeper meaning—a symbol of resilience and the power to create beauty in defiance of chaos.

Now, for many clients, a visit to the 365 Obolon beauty studio offers a much-needed escape. It’s not just a place for beauty treatments—it’s a reminder of life’s enduring grace, even in the most uncertain times.
