The intervention involved the redesign of the living area of an apartment located in Palermo. The first work involved the restoration of the solid iroko herringbone parquet flooring.

The second step involved the design of the false ceilings and the punctual lighting to enhance the furnishing elements and ensure correct lighting using recessed spotlights with narrow cone bulbs.
The scenic furnishing element on the main wall of the living room is the bookcase, custom designed by our studio, designed to accommodate the TV, objects and books, with containers for services and dishes.
The rear paneling in water-varnished chestnut separates the lower body with drawers from the dove gray lacquered wall units.
A vertical wall unit in chestnut joins the lower modules with the upper ones.

STUDIO SS
Located in Palermo and founded by the architect/designer Stefano Sanfilippo, SS Studio deals with architectural planning, interior design, interventions on the existing, design and graphic design.
The studio’s approach to the project begins with a precise analysis of the site, respecting the existing structure, the history and the morphological characteristics of the site.
