The initial intention was to open up the two existing areas to allow maximum exposure to the waterfront and mountainous landscape. The elevated lounge area is extended in order to reach the pool area creating a unified space. A twenty-one-meter-long box is designed in the middle of the space to satisfy the visitors and hotel users’ needs in all seasons and conditions. The box houses an elongated bar as its centerpiece.

The rooftop is draped in a marble finish covering the floors, pool area, and Jacuzzi. The box is articulated in steel structural elements with glass infills and covered with white curtains on all four sides. On the short edges of the box, the transparent facades expose the interior to the pool area from the East side, and the sunset bar area from the West side.

On the long edged facades, the glass panels retract in summer to allow for a completely open setting. Light grey curtains cover the previous 7-meter-high bar wall providing a dramatic backdrop for the DJ booth.
