In the same way that it o ers generous and convivial spaces, smaller places have also been thought of that prioritize simplicity and privacy, through interchanges and more intimate corners to watch the sun go down.
On the ground oor, most of the common areas are concentrated, such as coworking, Chez VN Mercado, service areas, bike rack and tool workshop. “The concept of the facade is based on the idea that each type of apartment it has a speci c façade treatment, which is represented by the spacing of the pillars on the balcony of each unit. ”.
The exposed concrete slab, the pillars and the expanded aluminum sheet make the building’s facade an invitation to experiences of simplicity and design. These experiences lead to a new architecture, interact with the city in a functional way and, even so, add warm concepts easily forgotten by our troubled life.
“Carefully, Chez VN is a proposal for a new concept of living for the city, in harmony with the surroundings, and yet o ering a breather to the acceleration of today’s times. This is what makes us so attracted by the project, what makes use of architecture in its purest concept of presenting better ways of living ”.
The furniture were selected combining furniture of Estúdio Orth creations with a selection of objects produced by brazillian artisans. An aesthetic infused with “beauty of imperfection” is obtained by the expressive potential of each material, generating works that recall nature in the abstract. The research is based on a contemporary appropriation of materials marked by time and reinterpreted through the integration of new and precious materials.
These objects are meticulously handmade by master artisans one piece at a time. It is therefore quite di cult, if not impossible to make identical items.
