2.City Mosque

The Mosque within the city of Gabala was built by the order of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Construction works started in May 2010, and therefore the Mosque was completed in early 2013. On February 28th, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration of the Mosque.

4.Gabala historical ethnography museum

The exhibits of the museum consisting of the archaeological, ethnographical and numismatic materials, ancient manuscripts, unique books, modern samples of the national arts and natural resources form a full idea on the ethical structure of the population, historical monuments, geographical conditions, flora and fauna, modern condition of the culture and economy and development perspectives of the region. over 14000 findings belonging to the traditional and medieval centuries found during the archaeological excavations are exhibited and preserved within the exhibition halls and museum fund. The full area of the museum is 900 sq.m. together with unique books published beginning with 1778, modern books in several fields of science –history, archaeology, etc. are exhibited within the museum. The open-air exhibition has been established within the museum yard. The stone column pillars which were found during the excavations of ancient Gabala, the medieval gravestone monuments with relief ornaments, and therefore the Arabian inscriptions are exhibited here.

5.Chukhur Gabala

7.Khazra Village Tombstones

9.Congress Center

The building consists of three floors and 4.2 m depth basement. The peak of every floor is 6.9 m. Halls for negotiations, wardrobe, rooms for artists, 350-seat restaurant, administrator rooms, spacious foyer, the hall for elevators, sanitary centers, and lobby are available on the primary floor of the center. 15.Central Library

The Central Library of Gabala region has begun to operate since 1930. Since 1976 it’s continued its activity as a CLS (Centralized Library System). CLS of Gabala region which unites 1 central library, 3 city branches, 3 settlement branches, and 20 village branches around has been operating because of the central library since 1930 and as CLS since 1976. In 1978-1981, 73 libraries were operating within the region.
