Inspired by the traditional Galician cabins, humble yet protective spaces that symbolize shelter and simplicity, the Cabana Lamp, designed by Isaac Piñeiro, evokes a sense of serenity and seclusion. Its soft, balanced form reflects thoughtful design, elevating comfort while staying rooted in a conscious approach to sustainability.
At the heart of the Cabana’s innovation lies a pioneering 3D knitting technique, a process typically seen in the textile industry, now adapted for lighting. This advanced method creates a seamless, three-dimensional lampshade with zero material waste, reinforcing IDS’s and a-emotional light’s shared commitment to eco-conscious design. The piece is completed with a sleek aluminum canopy and a parchment diffuser that adds subtle weight and diffuses the light, creating a warm, uniform glow, much like the tranquil shelter of a cabin.
The Cabana Lamp is available in three signature colors, Electric Blue, Orange, and Off-White, to suit diverse design concepts. Its versatile design makes it ideal for residential, hospitality, or commercial spaces seeking to create a refined, calming atmosphere with a touch of personality.
