Escape by Creatomy, a renowned name in contemporary furniture design, introduces its latest collection, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous tribes of India from the Northeast region.
Project Name: Indigenous-Inspired Collection for living room set up
Studio Name: Escape By Creatomy

With a profound focus on sustainability and minimalist aesthetics, the collection showcases a harmonious blend of tradition, innovation, and environmental consciousness.
The centrepiece of the collection is the fine craftsmanship and techniques employed in the making of every furniture piece purposely designed to evoke the essence of tribal life and natural landscapes. Create a living space haven spotlighting a minimalist vibe with a Rue end table, Scoop chair, Pebble coffee table, Impala sofa chair, and bookshelf, each bearing distinct characteristics that pay homage to indigenous craftsmanship and materials.

The living space can speak volumes about the personality of the homeowner, wherein the collection adds a collective value to the place. The Pebble coffee table is inspired by the ornate shells historically used in indigenous jewellery, while the Scoop chair draws from the elegant design of traditional drinking vessels.

In line with Escape’s commitment to sustainability, the collection emphasises the optimisation of wood usage. By repurposing end pieces that would typically be discarded in manufacturing processes, the brand transforms them into striking, abstract forms. The wood is charred using the Japanese technique of Sugi Ban, enhancing both its durability and aesthetic appeal.

Furthermore, Escape by Creatomy employs leather cord accents and solid wood construction throughout the collection, with most pieces finished in natural oils to minimise environmental impact. The brand’s innovative approach to production, including the use of 5-axis CNC machining for precision detailing, sets its designs apart in the market, offering customers a unique blend of craftsmanship and technology.
