Functioning as a dining establishment, the primary objective is to cultivate a space that radiates an atmosphere of enjoyment and informality, without necessitating any special prerequisites for full enjoyment. It represents a fresh yet relatable setting, actively encouraging its patrons to feel at ease and leave with a rejuvenating experience.
The most formidable design challenge was overcoming the stark linearity, which ran counter to the project’s essence. To address this, a curvilinear geometry was seamlessly integrated into the space.
These flowing curves gracefully transition into guiding lines on the floor, ascend the walls, and evolve into opaque surfaces, creating pockets of space that are poetically formed. Within these pockets, vibrant bursts of color, in stark contrast to the predominantly white terrazzo surfaces adorned with a meticulously crafted wall mural, contribute to a sense of personal space and a warm environment, ideally suited for engaging in meaningful ‘conversations’.
