Urban Dwelling by Nattacha Mongkolkiti

A duplex residential design for a multigeneration family of four located in downtown Brooklyn, New York. The design concept derived from study of the “Tatami mat” grid system in Japanese architecture.The breakdown of grid systems then become the furniture and the layout of the space.

Nattacha Mongkolkiti was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She is currently based in New York City.
She graduated from Pratt Institute, with a BFA in Interior Design.
