Three growing boys and the call of the sea prompted this move for our clients from inland to Huntington Beach. With the house recently remodeled, we started with a great framework, and adorned this modern farmhouse with rustic, neutral fittings and layered, textured textiles to create depth and warmth.

With each child’s unique personality, we decked out their rooms with bold colors and easy furnishings, so that the spaces will grow with them. The bathrooms received a pop of fun wallpaper, and the primary bedroom became the space to be, complete with a cozy sitting area for morning coffee.
On the main level, the expansive great room became the perfect place to watch the game, or curl up with a good book, while the lounge on the other end of the house offers a cozy corner to catch up with friends or relax with a glass of wine. After completing the inside of the house, our clients called us back to take on the exterior, including a new pool, outdoor kitchen, and covered living area. We brought the same neutral palette outside, and warmed up the hardscaping with layered fabrics and beautiful landscaping.
