Upon entering, one is greeted by an expanse of natural light that floods the parking area, thanks to its terracotta-tiled roof. This initial experience sets the stage for the journey through the residence, where utility and design are seamlessly integrated.
The living room features a contemporary semi-circular archway that draws the eye upward to a strong, filler slab ceiling. The exposed brick and stone walls add a tactile warmth, fostering a sense of authenticity and connection to the natural world. This grounding feature creates an inviting atmosphere within the home.
A focal point of the design is the impressive semi-circle arch leading to the courtyard. Beneath a pitched roof adorned with terracotta tiles, sunlight filters through glass panels, creating dynamic, colorful patterns on the walls. Unique design elements, such as repurposed beer bottles and an aged bullock cart wheel, contribute to the space’s rustic and enduring charm.
The courtyard acts as a central nexus, linking the kitchen and bedroom areas and facilitating a fluid, open layout. A staircase within the space ascends to the upper floor, where two bedrooms and an expansive terrace offer a bright and airy escape from the urban rush.
