The clients, active city dwellers leading an energetic lifestyle, purchased an apartment in the bustling business center of the city. Accordingly, its character is based on the dynamic spirit of the metropolis. The harmony of the modern city, the constructive essence of which is concrete, brick and glass, became the starting point for working with this space.

For a married couple, whose children have already grown up and live a completely independent life, the main requirements in the planning solutions were the presence of, firstly, a separate bedroom, secondly, a separate shower room and a separate bathroom, and the rest of the space was divided between a spacious hallway with a dressing room and a living room combined with a kitchen area.
The monochrome palette typical of an urban interior is represented by white finishing of the walls, ceilings and facades of the built-in furniture, giving the space lightness and additional volume, with contrasting graphite surfaces, which, in the absence of physical boundaries, create a feeling of isolation, forming more private and secluded corners with an appropriate atmosphere.
In general, the interior is characterized by pragmatic laconicism, the general background of monochrome is enlivened by small color and texture accents: the mood of shades of ocher, mustard, greenery add warmth and comfort, and the use of natural materials in the decoration (natural lime decorative plasters, ash parquet board, natural marble on the windowsills and kitchen work surfaces and its wooden facades), as well as natural textiles, living greenery, a fireplace with a live fire – entering into a game with the attributes of the “urban jungle” (concrete, brick and glass), create an incredibly harmonious alliance!
Since the owners of the apartment are very hospitable people, in their house it is not at all rare to meet with relatives and friends, this aspect, naturally, was reflected in the layout: several locations are provided for friendly meetings, evening friendly get-togethers. Both for personal use by the owners (depending on their mood) and for companies of different sizes, you can use a more open area, as if “flirting” with the urban space through the panorama of windows, the focus of which is the fireplace, and a more remote and isolated area for privacy.
The kitchen with a bar counter is also designed in such a way that the company can simultaneously cook, communicate, and taste wine. The bedroom is not loaded with unnecessary elements in the decoration, the furniture in it is quite simple, laconic, functional, without pretentiousness.
The atmosphere is characteristic of the industrial style and at the same time corresponds to the purpose of the room – it promotes emotional relief at the end of an active day. And, finally, the dynamics of the urban rhythm is also reflected in the shower and bathroom – this is emphasized by the temperature of the lighting in them: morning awakening is accompanied by the invigorating cool light of the shower room, which helps to concentrate internal forces, and in the evening it is replaced by subdued warm lighting of the bathroom, which allows you to fully relax after an intense day of an energetic city dweller.
