The grand and asymmetrical angular entrance creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The elegant green door adds a touch of color to the otherwise earthy facade. Upon entering the foyer, one is greeted by a spacious layout with a floor adorned with Jaisalmer yellow and Kota stone. From here, one can overlook the large living areas of the house, which are flooded with natural light. The courtyard and skylight over the staircase ensure sunlight permeates the house throughout the day, creating interesting shadows on the walls.
The centerpiece of the house is a remarkable double-height living area that leads the eye upward to a beautiful chandelier. The flow of spaces and architectural elements seamlessly connects the various areas. The common areas are located on the ground floor, while the upper-level walkways lead to private bedrooms. The staircase connecting the two floors is bathed in natural light thanks to the overhead skylight. The design of the glass and concrete louvers on the stair skylight prevents heat buildup at any time of the day.

The house’s appearance is enhanced by a tasteful combination of materials, creating a layered and textured look. The warmth of wood, Kota stone, and exposed concrete on the ceiling contrast with the expansive use of Jaisalmer yellow stone. The use of natural materials such as stone, wood, and brick defines the house’s style. Handcrafted wooden and fabric accessories further complement the design. The warm brown, subdued grey, and sandy tones, along with carefully selected pieces, prevent the design from being perceived as minimalist.
The design philosophy subtly defines the purpose of each living space, while emphasizing the bedroom as a place for relaxation. The walls are kept simple, and the ceiling is left raw, with elements of artwork interspersed to add a comforting charm. By avoiding unnecessary clutter, the room reflects the serene ambiance of nightfall or daybreak. With its furniture, white bedding, and walls, the bedroom becomes a tranquil oasis.

The bathrooms are spacious and exude a sense of calm, incorporating a creative interplay of materials and textures. Overall, the design philosophy of the house achieves a modern and understated luxurious feel, perfectly reflecting the persona of its occupants.
