The 3BHK apartment occupies the 7th floor with an area of roughly 1670sqft. After having realized clients needs and desires for their apartment. We reign to interpret the aesthetics for space and visualized a mid-century modern theme that includes rattan furniture, a lot of teak textures, a color palette of dusky pink-hued on an earthy eggshell white backdrop. We added yale blue and stellar geometric patterns to bring in new vigor and freshness with a modern perspective.

The apartment opens to a living space adjoining the dining area. We are welcomed to a beautiful teal blue polished credenza piece, at the entrance designed using wooden margins to create a diamond pattern. Hung on the wall are two pieces of irregular mirrors decorated with classic mid-century drop lights. The wall is a rustic grey wallpaper with a dusky pink hued fluted panel acting as subtle backdrop. The parallel wall is a zig-zag pattern wallpaper as a backdrop for the rattan tall cabinet and rattan shutter TV console all in teak. The zig-zag pattern of the wallpaper is reciprocated on the wooden design ceiling. Dark grey three-seater sofa sitting in contrast with pink flutes and a beautifully finished walnut center table. To tie the whole look, a pair of mid-century classic tan leather chairs are seated.

The dining area has a yale blue and black traditional bar as a focal point with diamond shaped mirror and brass knobs. Bar cabinet color and the diamond mirror reflects directly on to the parallelly sitting entrance credenza design.

The dining set is very minimal and soft made in teak wood. The tapered chairs and bench are decorated with light gold upholstery contrasting with plain and pattern fabric. The wall behind the dining is designed using subtle geometric shapes painted in eggshell white to create an interesting backdrop and hide the MCB. The kitchen is very quaint looking with contrasting black Moroccan tiles and light grey cabinet shutters. From dining, we travel through a memory gallery on the left with focus lights and an interesting mid-century graphics at the corner with hues of pink and purple.

The millennial home creates an idyllic rendition of our take on a mid-century interior. A balance between maximalism and minimalism, where nothing is too busy or too boring. A marriage of beautiful colors and textures blessed with warm lights creating a cozy atmosphere. A blend of new and nostalgia screams so millennial to us.

Also, some of the images is giving us famous F.R.I.E.N.D.S apartment vibes, or is it just us?
