This is a 3 BHK Apartment house converted from 4 BHK as per the client’s requirements. The client required the Study Area and Family Sitting adjoining dining which became a key to the new addition to expand more in open plan layout. Thus, the fourth bedroom was converted into an open study area cum family sitting, resulting in a large, well-lit, well-ventilated and visually connected space.

A wooden partition consisting of voids and solids is designed in the personal foyer which also has the nameplate engraved in it. The stone-cladded backdrop highlights the console unit. And the same is reflected in the vestibule having a circular mirror with backlighting. The Material, Lighting and Furniture give a touch of Luxury to the Entrance and The Sculpture of “Radha and Krishna” spread Spirituality and Love across the House.

The grey-toned bricks are cladded on the wall of drawing room. The combination of camel and grey coloured leather sofa makes the space look luxurious and comfortable. The TV Unit wall is embedded with Modified Stone look cladding in a grey tone which looks mesmerizing. The marble top Centre Table compliments the shades of curtains. The Garden balcony with vertical green wall and swing creates a soothing ambience which also connects the Guest Bedroom. The interiors follow a subtle colour scheme, highlighting the luxurious Italian marble flooring, rich materials and exquisite décor details.

One can see the continuity in materiality and colour selection in every corner of the house. The sliding glass doors are purposefully placed  within the spaces to make the apartment look spacious.

A family sitting is designed with Indian low-height sitting that acts as an informal sitting for family members to chill, having a study table to read or work a little. The wooden partition beside the study creates a partial privacy partition. Again, we can see that the drawing room and family sitting follows the same theme of grey brick-cladded wall.

The kitchen and the open plan layout of dining and drawing is separated by the service platform. The matt finish Acrolam cabinets and the vinyl wooden flooring give the minimalist look to the kitchen. The dining with a marble top and grey upholstery adds luxury to the space.

The Guest Bedroom follows a subtle colour scheme with a grey headboard, and grey stone backdrop combined with veneer. To break the monotony of the room and make it look spacious, the wardrobe is decorated with a Bronze Mirror & PU Finish.

The cement-sprayed backdrop with a tinge of mustard in the Master Bedroom is adorned with vertical rose gold metal Patti and the toilet door is beautifully camouflaged with vertical relwood. The colour theme is balanced by the use of light colours on the wardrobe and headboard. The combination of these elements adds royalty to the space. A provision for storing used clothes is designed as an extension of the PU Finish Laminated wardrobe. A beautiful standing balcony connected to nature becomes a place for enjoying a refreshing cup of tea.

The other bedroom for parents is made simple and light to match the personality of the user. To give a minimalistic look to this room, minimum furniture and neutral colours are used.

We focused on the tactile design of fabrics, different textures & furniture with the harmony of veneers that adds warmth and positivity throughout. The Colour Palette of the space affects us visually and our design of this apartment worked better with lighter tones of cream and brown with a punch of grey. The amalgamation of skilled craftsmanship, colour palette and functionality together to create a simple modern apartment that is filled with practical luxury & comfort.
