The aim is to build the most beautiful house in the world in a privileged spot, a terrain in Zalamea la Real, in Huelva, with the most stunning views.

The exact location for the proposed work is an elevated site, from which to the northeast there are wonderful views of the village of Zalamea la Real, while to the northwest the landscape stretches out towards a distant horizon, and to the south, green and sunny low scrublands.
We decided to build a linear construction with a strong outline, replacing the existing house. Our long, low, markedly horizontal, white building will have just two storeys.
The bedrooms will be situated on the upper, south-facing floor with a deep sun-filled terrace with interesting views.
The ground floor, which is very transparent and well-protected from direct sunlight by means of shade, will house the living and dining areas, as well as the outdoor swimming pool and the gym.
Both the dining-room and kitchen areas, and the living-room with its porch and terrace, will be in transversal sections projecting towards the northern landscape. The living-room continues outwards with its open porch continuing on to a terrace looking onto the distant landscape.
The entire building will be white, whitewashed Andalusian-style, embraced by a profusion of vines, jasmine and bougainvillea.
The materials employed are typical of the locality. Lime mortar, brick, limestone, drywall and wood. All these are traditional building materials in Andalucía, and have clearly proven their durability and comfort, as well as ease of maintenance and installation.
The construction systems will ensure that the building is perfectly insulated, minimising heat loss in winter and excessive exposure to the sun in summer. The double-glazed windows, the cavity walls, the areas in shade, porches and canopies all guarantee that this objective is achieved. In terms of energy, the prevailing winds are exploited to generate cross ventilation; solar energy will be used to obtain electricity and hot water; rainwater will be collected in a cistern for watering and other purposes and geothermic energy is also envisaged for heating and cooling applications.
