Soba Sassy is a newly opened high-energy pan-Asian restaurant and lounge located in Kolkata, India. The restaurant is designed by interior designer Ajay Arya of A Square Designs and features a modern interpretation of an oriental design aesthetic. With its upscale gastrobar and vibrant ambiance, Soba Sassy has become a hotspot in the city since its opening in January 2023.

The restaurant is spread over 7000 sq. ft and is divided into two sections: Soba and Sassy. Soba is the primary dining area and features a chic space with a vibrant colour scheme and arresting faux flowers on the walls. The sumptuous material palette includes terrazzo-like tiles, microfiber, leather, and velvet upholstery.
Sassy is the whimsical bar and lounge section of the restaurant, and it features dancing panda wall installations, hand-painted wall murals, and an eye-catching faux cherry blossom tree. The majestic bar has brass arches, and the overall ambiance is designed to transport guests to the far East.
The Pink Room is a surprise element of Soba Sassy and adds a feminine touch to the restaurant. The room boasts bright pink and purple booths, an oval bathtub filled with pink balloons, and a ‘Kiss My Sass’ neon sign on the wall. The entire restaurant’s design ethos is quirky and Instagrammable, making it the perfect spot for a date night or hangout scene with friends.
