Animesh Nayak, the Principal Architect of Open to Sky, brings a wealth of experience and a diverse educational background. Having graduated with a B.Arch degree from Delhi’s School of Planning and Architecture in 2002, Animesh honed his skills during internships in San Francisco and with renowned Indian architect Laurie Baker. His journey continued with a Master’s degree from Cornell University, followed by four years at the New York office of FXFowle, where he contributed to various urban planning and architecture projects.
Returning to India in 2009, Animesh co-founded SALT, an architecture practice that executed a myriad of projects across India and overseas. In 2016, after the dissolution of SALT, he established Open to Sky Architects, further enriching India’s architectural landscape.
