Just months after it’s opening, Café School has become everyone’s favorite place to go in Alibaug. A short boat ride away from Mumbai, this charming little coastal town is buzzing more than ever with tourists and travelers frequently visiting the alluring and relaxing life of Alibaug. Thankfully, we have a cozy all-day diner called Café School at everyone’s service. We are proud to say, with Café School, we brought the Café culture to Alibaug.

More than a restaurant’ it’s a business strategy that attracts children and everyone who comes along with them. The concept, the idea, the nostalgia appeals to everyone who has ever been to school. The strategic location ensures a convenient and constant footfall and visibility to the café offering un-missable on-road prominence to the brand outlet as well as ample of privacy indoors & outdoors. From a Brand Name, to Brand Strategy, Brand Architecture Design, Brand Identity, Interior Design, Food Photography, Packaging Design, Merchandise Design, Menu Card Design, the Advertising from Outdoor to social media, the brand is meticulously crafted by The Countryside – India’s first award-winning team of designers working in the countryside of Alibaug offering world-class creative solutions to brands pan India & worldwide.
The moment you enter Café School, you enter the nostalgia of school days. The massive writing pad on the façade welcomes you to the school. The wooden benches, the blackboards on tabletops, the globes hanging over tabletops with soft spotlights, to vintage candies that let you time-travel to your childhood. From the Principal’s desk where you take an admission (place an order), to the counter where you collect the result (your order), Teachers (staff) serving you (food), to the Report card (bill) you receive, the experience will make you smile at every step. This café is not just an eatery, it’s the entire experience that is slowly becoming the talk of the town. From all types of fine bean coffees to all kinds of cuisines, Café school keeps you fulfilled. Time flies away as you touch the chalk and turn into a child until your order arrives.
Café School sees visitors from everywhere, tourists, travelers as well as locals throughout the day. Tourists as well as residents love the concept, design of the café. It’s a go-to place for a meal from breakfast to dinner or to get a quick cup of coffee any time of the day. The meetings and discussions at Café School thrive with the handy chalk scribbles on the blackboard.
The 1600 Sq ft Space is ground + 1 with a party area and live music upstairs. The café also has a pleasant outdoor seating for approx. 24 pax. under broad canopy of a giant raintree. The total seating capacity is 80 Pax at-a-time and it’s usually buzzing throughout the day, crowded especially on weekends.
