In this project, the design started from scratch, with an entirely open space free of walls or partitions. The clients, a young married couple, envisioned a layout that would include an open-plan living room and kitchen, a bedroom, a children’s room, two bathrooms, and a separate dressing area. Their key priorities included seamlessly integrating a washer and dryer, as well as a water filtration system.

The couple leads dynamic, fast-paced lives, often occupied with meetings, calls, and navigating the rhythm of a bustling city. Their primary goal for the project was to create a tranquil sanctuary where they could unwind and reconnect with a sense of harmony. The only intentionally vibrant element in the home was the husband’s shower room, designed to invigorate him each morning with bright colors, energizing music, and a lively atmosphere.
To foster a sense of serenity, a natural color palette with terracotta accents was chosen. Soft fabric wall panels in the living room and bedroom provide a welcoming tactile quality. The high ceilings made it possible to discreetly incorporate a retractable cinema screen in the living room, along with strategically placed spotlights and speakers throughout the apartment. The integrated sound system allows for customized playlists in each space. The combination of a large screen, acoustic panels, and warm LED lighting transforms the living room into an inviting home theater.
The bedroom blends artistic design with elements of nature. Wooden panels behind the bed, accented by mirrored inserts that catch and reflect sunlight, create a sense of warmth and playfulness. The furniture harmonizes with the wall colors, producing a balanced and soothing aesthetic.
In contrast to the calm tones of the other rooms, the shower room and hallway feature bold terracotta hues, bringing energy and vitality to these spaces. Meanwhile, the main bathroom offers a minimalist and calming ambiance, perfect for relaxation. Both bathrooms are finished with textured stone chip tiles, adding depth and character.
In the kitchen, soft corduroy-upholstered chairs and armchairs, along with a velvet alcove near the entrance, provide comfort and visual warmth, enhancing the minimalist design. At sunset, the living room and kitchen take on a magical quality, as warm pink and blue hues bathe the space, transforming it into a serene oasis of peace and beauty.
