Following a major remodelling of this modern townhouse overlooking the leafy South Park SW6, we designed 4 outdoor spaces for the residence: a front garden, back courtyard, balcony & roof terrace. The courtyard is walled and shaded, featuring silver birch trees, moss, bamboo, ferns & Phormiums. A waterfall offset to the right cascades over 3 tiers of stainless steel chutes into a tiled pool.

The roof terrace features a cedar-clad hot tub, with a bespoke cedar arbour and movable slatted screens on the sides for privacy. Basking in sun, the rooftop is home to Mediterranean plants, from herbs to palm trees & tropical milkweed.
Beige rectangular tiles, slate coping, white rendered walls, oak balustrades, diagonal railing uprights and stainless steel planters & light fittings are featured in all 4 outdoor spaces, sustaining an ultra-modern architectural detail narrative, adding cohesiveness.
The planting in the courtyard, balcony and roof terrace merges with the lush parkland opposite, borrowing the landscape beyond and adding verdant well-being in every view.
